This is the first time that a Bi-lateral Total Hip Replacement was performed not only in Tripura but in the entire east of India and this extremely complicated operation was performed by a surgeon of national repute Dr Rakesh Rajput. He was assisted in this rare & complicated surgery by Dr Abhijit Sarkar, Dr Pandab Paul, Dr Jayashree Sen & others.
